The small family business Russo only produces four different wines, including the Sasso Bucato, which is groundbreaking for its price range. When I had it in my glass for the first time, I couldn't imagine that something so first-class could be bought for less than 30 francs.
Dense violet with garnet shimmer, cassis, blackberry, ripe cherry notes and noble vanilla on the nose. Firm and polished on the palate, spreads out beautifully and ends with a long aftertaste of the finest spicy notes.
