This Don Tommaso is not a Mafioso, but a fully luminous and at the same time elegant selection of the best grapes from Principe Corsini. Gran Selezione is the new top of the quality pyramid in Chianti Classico and is only produced in the best vintages.
Bright ruby ​​red with a fine garnet shimmer. The nose initially shows fine spicy notes of cedar wood and cardamom, then blackberry and cherry, inviting. Very elegant and polished on the palate, rich cherry fruit, paired with notes of pomegranate and goji berries, opens with lots of fine-meshed, very well-placed tannins, elegant and long with a dance-like swing.
