The noble owner family from the Alto Adige has been practicing biodynamic wine cultivation in a class of its own since 2009: even the choice of wooden barrels is oak from the nearby Dolomites!
Purely made from the indigenous Lagrein grape and the single Rubatsch vineyard. Meticulous selection of the best grapes. Aged for 16 months in mixed barriques. Careful extraction of dyes and tannins. Result: Almost opaque purple violet, dark berry fruit nose with ripe plums, elderberry syrup and licorice. Dense and velvety tannins.
