With 1/3 each Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, Les Traverses is the trademark of the Domaine de Courbissac. The vines, which are between 15 and 40 years old, grow at 350 meters above sea level. and thrive on clay-limestone soils. The gentle maceration of 10 days without mechanical extraction is created by native yeasts and the aging in concrete tanks lasts 6 months.
Deep ruby ​​tone, the robe of this 2021 Les Traverses announces a fine and very elegant nose ! In fact, the bouquet exudes aromas of crunchy red fruits, figs and ripe plums. These scents are wrapped in numerous herbs found in the Garrigue region: thyme, rosemary, juniper... On the palate, the wine offers roundness and suppleness on a juicy red fruit note with a notable finish.
