Finally, the Montus 2016 is at its ideal drinking stage and it is worth posting a box of this independent and established specialty from Madiran for now and the future. Because the name of the Tannat grape variety suggests that it is a tannin bomb, which has now been curbed after a few years in the cellar and represents a great pleasure for serious wine connoisseurs at a very fair price. Alain Brumont stands by his terroir and his grape variety, and it should stay that way. Merci beaucoup!
